Description:
This Weissburgunder shines pale yellow to greenish in color. A light, fresh white wine that presents pleasant notes of Granny Smith due to the ageing on the fine lees. It is lively and fresh, not too dry on the palate with fine acidity that gives it a youthful freshness and a harmonious flavor.

Production area:
Neumarkt/Egna South Tyrol. The grapes of this wine grow directly in the countryside near the winecellar at 220 m above sea level, with soils made up of a mixture of sandstone, porphyry and limestone marl.
Vinification:
The Pinot Blanc is fermented in steel barrels at a controlled temperature. Half of the must ferments spontaneously, i.e. without the addition of yeast. The wine is then aged on the fine lees in concrete barrels until bottling.
Food Pairing:
It is ideal to salads and white meats. A pleasant summer wine.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 3 years.

The term Glassier« from the Latin enclosure« indicated properties which, like the Glassierhof, were bounded by a circular wall. The farm, known for being built in 1663, has been in the family for nine generations. Its primary objective is the quality of the wines. Quality can only be achieved if all wine production processes, from cultivation to bottling, are carefully observed. That is why this farm is managed according to organic guidelines. True quality begins in the vineyard. This work and tradition will continue in the future and the range of wines, consisting of Lagrein, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Schiava, Sauvignon and a cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, will continue to be elaborated to the best of our knowledge and in harmony with nature.
