Description

Description:
Intense, bright red colour. Clean and elegant aromas follow. Scents of withered violets, black fruits, blackberries, currants. Balsamic nuances and spicy notes frame the complex bouquet. On the palate it conveys a fine aromatic progression from fruitiness to fine woods and spices to hints of cola. Acidity and creamy sensations balance each other, the finish is tannic, with well-presented and integrated tannins. It is an elegant wine where the tradition and unique imprint of this winery can be perceived.

Stachlburg Winery
The altitude of 650m demands special grape varieties, which, particularly on the Partschinser soil on the sunny south-facing hillside, produce exceptionally intense wines. With great care, all wines are aged and rested in our cellar in steel tanks or in barrels.
The wines are generally characterized by a particular fruitiness, an elegant acidity and a delicate structure. At times, also the fortunate exposition to the sun position and the careful thinning can produce fairly full-bodied wines. Other locations are found in the low-lying village of Andrian where with an altitude of only 300m, there is a privileged climate for rich and mineral wines.

Aroma remind of Amarena cherries, elderberries and wild berries. The ripening in oak barrels (barrique barrels), lends this wine a pleasant note of vanilla and wood. Its taste is delightfully harmonious and full-bodied.Bottle to: 750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt.
