At present, DEMETER is the only biodynamic certification for agricultural cultivation and, therefore, most suitable for farmers. As already mentioned before, as we do not only take care of the vineyards but also the ecological processing of the grapes in our wine cellars, DEMETER only partly fulfils the guidelines of a biodynamic philosophy. For the actual work in the wine cellar, there are currently no real guidelines. As it makes little sense to have a DEMETER certification for the production of wine, there are many biodynamic enterprises, which are not certified, but continue to use biodynamic techniques in their wine cellars. Wine-growing estates, which are classified in our shop as biodynamic, but do not have certification, fulfil the biodynamic philosophy during the actual cultivation, as well as processing.
